Table Runners

It seems when you don't blog for a while but still keep sewing you get fodder for your blog.  I am slowly trying to catch up on documenting things I have made.

Next up are two table runners I made for Christmas gifts last year.  I used a wonderful pattern from Sherri of A Quilting Life.

One is made from the Tapestry fabric range by Fig Tree and the other is made from the Scrumptious fabric range by Bonnie and Camille. I only bought the 2 1/2 inch square pre-cuts.  All other fabrics were from my stash.

I hadn't quilted in some time and it seems not all spray baste products are made equal.  How annoying is it when they just stop spraying even after ensuring the noozle is cleared after each use. Wasteful.  Thank goodness for safety pins.

Christmas gift production has sort of started but I feel a bit unsettled what I am going to make.  I think I know but I just need to knuckle down and make a sample or two so some decisions can be made. I am kind of annoying myself that I am being somewhat indecisive and quite a few things need to ready a couple of weeks before the big day. Please send some decisiveness my way.

These are such lovely table runners and the polka dot binding is sweet! Nice to see some show and tell. I am in denial about Christmas so unable to send you some decisiveness, sorry! ; )

Better late than never! Your table runners are lovely. I bet the recipients loved them. You always take such beautiful photos too. I'm hopeless at deciding on what gifts to make. I always think your zippered puches are particularly wonderful.
